Religie heeft een nut, sterker, is een nut. Nut om te verbinden, omdat mensen niks all\u00e9\u00e9n kunnen. Verbinden komt met beperkingen. Al vrij snel wordt de massa groter en staan er individuen op die macht willen (macht is het vermogen het handelen van anderen te be\u00efnvloeden) en dan dus het mechanisme van religie naar hun voordeel om te buigen. In de kern van communiteit zit het gemeenschappelijk belang: Het belang om beschermd te zijn en \u2018je ding te kunnen doen\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het spanningsveld is de macht (geld laat mensen andere dingen doen dan ze in eerste instantie willen bijvoorbeeld), die mensen beweegt en mensen anders doet geloven. Als je 1 euro meer krijgt dan de plaatselijke AH voor een uur werk, om ecstasy te verhandelen, vraag je je dan af, wat je doel in het leven is?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daarom heeft religie nut. Het is onze gerationaliseerde manier om met onzekerheden om te gaan en je een plek op de wereld te veroveren, de bescherming genietend van een collectief. Die bescherming veroorzaakt dan automatisch, dat je niet aan de goden bent overgeleverd en je rijkdom kunt vergroten.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
